Honey🍯 clover

A soothing, aromatic herbal tea blend combining dried elderflowers, chamomile, lemon balm, and a spoonful of raw honey. Elderflower is beloved by pollinators and by herbalists alike for its gentle calming and immune-supporting properties.

Method

  1. 1

    Combine herbs

Add dried elderflowers, chamomile, and lemon balm to a tea infuser or small muslin bag.

πŸ’‘ Elderflowers are also wonderful fresh in early summer β€” use 2 tablespoons of fresh flowers if you have them.
  2. 2

    Steep

Pour boiling water over the herbs. Steep for 7–10 minutes. Longer steeping gives a more potent, slightly more bitter brew.

  3. 3

    Sweeten with honey

Remove the infuser. Wait 1–2 minutes for the tea to cool slightly below boiling, then stir in raw honey. Heating honey above 95Β°F destroys its enzymes and flavor nuances.

πŸ’‘ Honey should always be added to warm tea, never boiling.
  4. 4

    Serve

Pour into your favorite mug. Add a slice of lemon if desired. Breathe it in β€” elderflower is as much aromatherapy as beverage.
