The easiest beeswax candle you'll ever make — no double boiler required. Simply warm a sheet of pure beeswax with a hairdryer until pliable, lay the wick along the edge, and roll tightly. These candles burn clean and fill the room with a warm, natural honey scent.

Method

  1. 1

    Warm the beeswax sheet

Lay a beeswax sheet on a clean, flat surface. Use a hairdryer on medium heat to warm the sheet evenly for about 30 seconds until soft and pliable but not melted.

💡 Cold beeswax will crack when rolling. Take your time warming it.

  2. 2

    Place the wick

Lay a cotton wick along one short edge of the sheet, leaving about 0.5" of wick extending beyond the top edge of the wax.

  3. 3

    Roll tightly

Fold the wax edge snugly over the wick and press firmly to seal. Then slowly and evenly roll the entire sheet into a tight cylinder, applying gentle pressure as you go.

💡 Even pressure = even burn. Take it slow and keep the bottom edge flat.
  4. 4

    Press to seal

When fully rolled, press the final edge firmly into the candle with your warm finger to seal. Trim the wick to about 0.25".

  5. 5

    Repeat and display

Make the remaining 3 candles the same way. Arrange in groups of varying heights for a beautiful natural display.

💡 Beeswax candles burn twice as long as paraffin and emit negative ions that purify the air — a genuine gift to yourself and others.
