Lavender Honey Lemonade
A floral, refreshing lemonade sweetened entirely with lavender-infused honey syrup. Perfect for a warm summer afternoon and a beautiful way to showcase the magic that happens when bees visit lavender fields.
Method
- 1
Make the lavender honey syrup
Combine honey, water, and dried lavender in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until honey dissolves, then bring just to a simmer. Remove from heat and let steep for 15 minutes.
π‘ Don't boil β high heat degrades honey's delicate floral compounds.β± 15 min - 2
Strain and cool
Strain the syrup through a fine mesh sieve to remove lavender buds. Allow to cool completely.
π‘ Syrup keeps in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. - 3
Mix the lemonade
In a large pitcher, combine fresh lemon juice and cold water. Add honey lavender syrup to taste, starting with half and adjusting from there.
