The Bee's Knees Cocktail
A Prohibition-era classic that's perfectly suited for the hive-minded. Gin, fresh lemon juice, and a rich honey syrup create a beautifully balanced cocktail that lets your honey's flavor shine through.
Method

Make the honey syrup
Whisk together honey and warm water in a small bowl until the honey is fully dissolved. This is your honey syrup.

Chill your glass
Fill a coupe or martini glass with ice and water and let it sit while you shake the cocktail.

Shake
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add gin, fresh lemon juice, and honey syrup. Shake vigorously for 15 seconds until very cold.

Serve
Discard the ice from your chilled glass. Double-strain the cocktail through a fine mesh strainer into the glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.
